Mining & Processing

Bentonite is usually a open cast mine and can contain an over burden of 5' to 50' in our area. After the suitable grade is selected, bentonite is quarried and dried in natural state to reduce the moisture from 30 to 10%. This process further involves removal of foreign material by screening which is harmful for natural property of bentonite.

Depending upon the usage bentonite is usually activated with soda ash for enhancement of properties required in various applications. While activation with soda ash we use the method of wet activation, which ensures even penetration of soda and optimised result.

Before finally processing in powder form our bentonite are closely inspected by our quality control team.

We process both Sodium and Calcium based Bentonite. Treatment is done in accordance to product specification and usage.

Bulk Shipment

For larger quantity requirements we also mobilize shipment in Bulk Loose/ Bulk Packed (in 1 Ton Jumbo Bags). Single shipment upto 20,000 Tons can be made. Small package sizes of 5000 Tons is also accepted.

25 kg Kraft paper bags laminated/ non-laminated
50 kg HDPE bags with inner Poly Liner
1000 kg jumbo bags with/without liner

Palletization

50 kg HDPE bags and paper bags as above can also be shipped as pallet cargo which are PP strapped with HM cover and films. Pallet size is 42" x 42" x 42" while the capacity of each pallet is 1 ton as standard. However we also make individual pallet of upto 1.250 tons.
